The Outreach Initiative Group runs the Simple Gesture ECG vs. STEM Food Drive Competition and works as ambassadors for the school.

The Tutoring Initiative Group offers group and individual tutoring for all ECG students. They also tutor at Western Guilford High school.

The "Can We Just Talk?" Initiative Group leads discussions with underclassmen to help address any problems they are dealing with.

The Academic Advising Group host the NHS information session, a resume workshop, and an advice session on college applications.
