NHS Inductions will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 2pm in Byran Jr. Auditorium.
The reception will take place in the lobby following the ceremony.
All Inductees will report to Mr. Johnson’s room by 1:15pm. Set up should be finished BEFORE 1:15pm.
All current members of NHS are REQUIRED to attend the Induction Ceremony.
To be counted in attendance, you must…
Dress Appropriately
Guys: Dress Shirts, Dress Pants, and Ties (Coats are optional)
Girls: Dress Shirt and Nice Slacks OR Dress Shirt and Skirt OR Dress
Be punctual
Everyone must check in with Cooper Creech in Mr. Johnson’s room BEFORE 12:15.
The Induction Ceremony is the day after Prom, so plan accordingly.
Sit in the Current Members Section during the Ceremony
The current members section is the seating area in Bryan Jr. that is stage left (audience right).
EXCEPTION: Marshalls and Chief Marshals will sit with inductees. Board members will sit up front to perform their duties during the ceremony.
EXCEPTION: Grace Loftin, Kara Maxwell, and Dani Shoemaker (see your assigned roles)
Remain on campus until...

Everything is cleaned up (It is Mr. Johnson’s judgement and not yours if everything has been sufficiently cleaned up.)
If you have a scheduling conflict, you may clear an absence with Mr. Johnson. However, all absences must be cleared at least 48 hours beforehand. An alternate will be assigned to fulfill your role.
If you are absent without clearance from Mr. Johnson, you MUST turn your pin and membership card into Mr. Johnson on Monday April 20, 2020. You will no longer be a member of the NHS.
