Who are we?
The National Honor Society is one of the most selective high school academic and leadership organizations. The National Association of Secondary School Principals sponsors the NHS, and it sets the requirements are drawn.
What are our core values?
Our core values are scholarship, leadership, character, and service. The scholarship qualification is met with a minimum cumulative weighted grade point average (GPA) of 4.1. The leadership qualification is documented through leadership positions in community and at school. The character qualification is expressed through the Six Pillars of Character, which are respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, caring, and citizenship. The service qualification is evidenced by actions on behalf of others without any direct compensation to the individual student.
What is our mission?
This year we want to focus on actively being apart of both our school and local communities, and as NHS members take the responsibility upon ourselves to help foster a more interconnected ECG that not only seeks to help our surrounding community but also uplift each other and be there for other students seeking help. As leaders it is our duty to ensure that students can depend on us and each other and help establish good relationships with one another.
